Strategy and Social Media Internships at Gauger + Associates

San Francisco agency Gauger + Associates is looking for interns interested in strategy and working with various social media platforms for their clients. Interns will develop strategies based on client needs to boost their social media. They will also be creating content, researching trends, writing pitches, photography, promotions etc.

Gauger + Associates is a small agency, so interns will wear many hats depending on their interests. Clients are natural food products, home builders and retirement communities.

Submit resume and cover letter to Account Coordinator Ksenya Rabover at Interviews will be scheduled in the next few weeks.

School of Advertising Potluck ginormous success

POTLUCKOn Tuesday, March, 8th, the School of Advertising held its first Potluck event of 2016. Over 50 ad students enjoyed a wide range of tasty dishes from around the world, including Portuguese pulled pork and pierogis from Poland. Alliteration was a hot topic of conversation amongst the many copywriting students.

The event lasted only an hour or so, but in that time students from different semesters who focus on either Art Direction, Copywriting or Creative Strategy were able to meet each other and share stories, eat some good food and make connections. Yes, everyone had fun. Yes, it was great way to practice networking. Yes, you should have been there. Yes, there will be another one soon.

Coming Soon: Spring Show Call for Entries

Start polishing up your best work, we will begin accepting entries for Spring Show right after Spring Break.

Words can be powerful. Words have the ability to build regimes. They

can tear down walls or build them up. They can break barriers, ice, and

even hearts. Words have the power to create allegiances and declare

wars. A lone whisper can shatter a silence the way a stern speech can

move mountains. Sonorous sounding syllables satisfy swiftly, succinctly

serenading serene psyches. Salamander.

Articulate words can express a single idea, while a single word can

embody an entire doctrine. Without words, you—we wouldn’t exist. So

embrace the unyielding awesomeness that is narrative, debate, lecture,

or just plain conversation. And maybe get your caffeine fix, too.
