MFA Alumni Hosts Apple Event

Selena Davant started her Smile A Day project while studying at the Academy. Since graduating, she has nurtured it to broad acclaim. Now she’s hosting a special event at the Apple Store Union Square and is inviting you to participate. It’s free to sign up.

“Selena Davant has been traveling to different communities capturing the richness of life with her camera through her project, Smile A Day. Bring your iPhone and she’ll show you some of her top techniques for encouraging people to feel comfortable in front of a camera. This walk is about a mile and ends at 7:30 p.m., so wear comfortable shoes and bring a fully charged device.”
