ADDY’S Now Accepting Entries

The 2015-2016 ADDY’s are now open and accepting entries through January 22nd. We are sponsoring the Student Entries this year, not the Professional Entries. If you would like to enter in the Professional division you will need to cover the fee on your own.

If you would like to have your work submitted and paid for the by the Academy please do the following by 12:00pm, January 21st:

  1. Send an email* to advertising@academyart.edu with this subject title: “ADDY’s Entry, [Student name and ID number].” In your email, make sure to include the names of the files your are submitting, and if it is a group submission please also include the names of any other students who worked on the entry. All information required for entering your work and contacting you should be in this email…so please read the online entry information!
  2. Attach your work to the email as a zipped (compressed) file. If the file exceeds 25MB, you will need to call 415-618-8839, and we can check in about coming to campus with a thumb drive.

You will receive an email confirmation of receipt of your work within 24 hours; it will then be reviewed by the a member of the ADV Directoral team for entry. Once submitted, you will receive another email from advertising@academyart.edu with this confirmation. Questions? Please call 415-618-8839, and we are happy to help!

Andy’s Competition

If you are interested in entering the Andy’s awards and having AAU pay for your entry please come to 410 Bush with your work ready to upload and see Sarah Seigler on the 3rd floor.

She will take your work and upload it to the site for the school.

Sarah will be on vacation from December 22 to December 28, returning Tuesday December 29th. Please call or email her to set up a time for you to come by and drop off your entries.

Summer Internship open for DigitasLBI

DigitasLBI Internship program is now open in all of their locations.

Internship application closes January 1, 2016

Summer Internships Opportunity:
Their program runs for 10 weeks in the summer starting in June!

Basic requirements-
Candidates must be a U.S. citizen or have a work permit
Must be available for the duration of the program
Must be an undergraduate student who will be entering senior year of college (Class of 2017)
Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher

8 Week Spring 2016 Internship Program

Internship opportunity as an 8 week Spring Internship program for Copywriters and Art Directors.

It is open to recent grads (Summer 2015 and Fall 2015) plus final year students graduation in May or December 2016.
