Big Ad Gig Competition 2017

The Big Ad Gig has opened applications for the ninth annual competition offering aspiring young creatives the chance at 30-day paid freelance gigs at one of the participating agencies, including CP+B, Venables Bell & Partners, We’re Magnetic and more.

Applying is easy. Creatives only need to submit their portfolios and complete a short application before the deadline on September 13th, 11:59 P.M. EST. The selected finalists will then be given a creative brief from the Ad Council and invited to present their ideas at the New York Times headquarters in New York City during Advertising Week on September 27th. During the event, a panel of esteemed judges will provide feedback to each presentation and choose winners to receive gigs.

Judges include Andre Kassu, Partner & CCO of CP+B Brazil and Miami; Jaime Robinson, Founder and Chief Creative Officer at Joan Creative; Paul Venables, Founder and Chairman of Venables, Bell & Partners; Brian Schultz, Founding Partner and Chief Experience Officer at We’re Magnetic; Maryam Banakarium, CMO at Hyatt; and Sebastian Tomich, SVP of Advertising & Innovation at The New York Times.
