BLUE TRUCK is an award-winning design-build architecture studio that creates inspired and thoughtful spaces by synthesizing a collaborative design process with high craft construction AND is looking for a part-time (1-2 days a week) paid intern.


We are looking for help with the strategy and production of our marketing outreach:

  • social media strategy and posts
  • website updates
  • award submissions
  • project photoshoots and publication endeavors – networking (e.g. past and present clients, etc.) – marketing collateral (flyers, brochures)


The Marketing Intern will work directy with the studio’s Principal and Studio Director as well as our Director of Marketing to create and implement our marketing vision. This role, while part-time initially, has the opportunity to evolve into more regular work, particularly with the candidate’s willingness to integrate into the daily development of the practice and general office tasks. Work will be done on site in our Mission/Potrero studio which is part of a vibrant artist community and a diverse and exciting neighborhood.


The ideal candidate has excellent writing ability, graphic design/layout skills and a strategic, marketing mindset. Creativity and quality execution are paramount to success. We’re especially interested in candidates with an interest in architecture and a willingness to be part of our growth and emergence in the field.


Required qualifications:

  • relevant academic and/or work experience, such as marketing or communications (may be a student currently)
  • fluency in English
  • proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite – InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator preferred
