American Icon – Forgotten America

American Icon Art Competition, in collaboration with the Sausalito Arts Festival, believe that art drives inspiration. Each year they host a competition, whose winners are displayed at the festival. Last year’s theme was Forgotten America. Young & Hungry strove to make the icons of our past the central focus of the art show experience.

We hoped to increase art contest submissions under the theme ‘Forgotten America’ and design a killer gallery space at the Sausalito Arts Festival.

How to do that? Our idea was to make our audience nostalgic for the icons of America’s past.
