Strategy Opportunity at Major Detroit Agency

An alum let us know that Campbell Ewald has a strategist position open. You might want to speak with Andrea or Mark about a personal recommendation. Here’s the description they sent:

The Senior Creative Strategist / Creative Strategist / Design Strategist (we are flexible to define this position around selected individual talent and experience level) will develop original insights, brand building ideas, and creative strategies. This new role will join Creative Strategy group seeking new and unexpected forms of bringing together design thinking, technological imagination and empathy to what makes people human, to develop creative strategies that inspire new forms of storytelling and new emotional links between people, products, brands and culture.

This role will collaborate with creatives, designers, technologists, experience designers, content managers and other storytellers across disciplines and Agency groups. This role will report to our Director of Invention Strategy.

We are looking for independent creative thinkers and problem solvers with curiosity, perceptiveness and empathy. Ideal individuals will have a meaningful experience in some of the fields like creative strategy, design strategy, experience design, social sciences, creative technology, product design, design research, ethnographic research, market research, … .

We are looking for strong unorthodox thinkers and makers, with active curiosity and ideas about stuff around them; flexible thinkers who are comfortable with quickly shifting their cognitive lens from analytical to interpretative, bringing together ingenuity, rigor, imagination and storytelling.

As a Creative Strategist in our unit, you will make discoveries, ask new equations, research and interpret, imagine alternatives, suspend assumptions. You will experiment, think fast and hard, prototype, solve problem, develop ideas and creative strategies that inspire meaningful relationships between people and brands. You will inspire others and be inspired.
